Halloween events and things to do in Sanford
Our church didn't do a Trunk Or Treat this year, so we were scrambling to find something to do. That caused me to do a deep dive on all of the events and things to do with kids or families in Sanford for Halloween. I was definitely surprised with what I found. There are a lot! I figured I'd consolidate my findings into a list for you guys and share it so that you can find something to get into this weekend as well.
If you're trying to really rack up on the candy for the kids (or yourself), you could create a route with a bunch of these happening at different times and really fill up your pillow case!
If you end up going, make sure to tag us on instagram or Facebook. We'd love to see your costumes and will share them on our stories!
Here's the list!
Deep River's Family Halloween Adventure begins at 5:30. Food trucks, hay rides, a bouncy house, games, movies, and candy await! $10 for ages 3 and up.
Deep River's Trail of Terror begins at 8 pm and runs until midnight all three days! Brave the woods at night and survive the infestation of Toxic Zombies! $18/person (ticket includes 2 trips through - A trail and B trail!)
$25 for both the Family Adventure and the Trail of Terror
(For Trail of Terror 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult)
Hugger Mugger Brewery will be on-site Thursday, and Hatchet Brewery Friday and Saturday.
It's kids dance party ... Halloween edition!
Get those kiddos on the dance floor in costume and have them dance all that wild energy away. Face painting and sweets will be available for the kids, beer for the adults.

Time to get freaky (again) with our annual Halloween costume contest. Yes, there will be prizes but the competition is tough. Not much to it, just show up and be ready to respond to whatever the emcee asks of you - it's all in good fun.
Hi everyone! Professor Sparkles here inviting you to come out for our annual Trunk or Treat Event on Sunday, October 30th starting at 3 pm until 5 pm. Join Tramway Baptist Church for our Annual Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat. Open to the public with no admission fee! Stop by Journey Church on Monday October 31st at 6pm for our Trunk or Treat Event. All are welcome! Fun for the entire family! Candy, Costumes, Crafts, Giveaways, and much more!
If you're new to Trunk or Treating, it's a modern tradition in which kids go "trick or treating" car to car instead of house to house in a parking lot. Each car trunk is decorated with a theme and monitored by a trusted adult who gives out candy and other treats to trunk-or-treaters.
If you are a part of Journey Church and want to display a trunk, please go to our website to reserve your parking spot!
It's time for our sweetest event of the year! The Spout Springs Church annual Trunk or Treat. Come on down to Spout Springs Church on Saturday, October 29 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm in your Halloween costume if you've got one for a fun time and FREE candy!! This event is open to everyone in our community and we cannot wait to see you!
If you are interested in decorating a trunk or helping out in one of our several serving opportunities during the event, please check out the sign-up at rebrand.ly/trunkortreatvolunteer
